Creative Commons licenses include RDFa metadata that facilitates discovery of openly licensed content and allows for content to be automatically processed. RDFa helps machines and humans read and express the same content using sophisticated programming statements that machines can understand, iterating towards semantic-ness. In this manner, CreativeCommons licenses become more integrated within the larger movement promoting the openness of a semantic web.
