SPI is the project coordinator. SPI’s activities as coordinator will comprise the coordination and overall project management, development of the project's activities and legal issues. SPI will be actively involved in all the project’s phases, either through its coordination activities (WP1) or through bringing in experts’ knowledge. SPI’s activities also include dissemination and publication of the project results, attendance of conferences, and the project evaluation.
SPI will be the lead partner of the openED organizational framework developments (WP2), by building on its prior experiences in this field. SPI will also assist in localizing the course and will participate at the pilots through its training department that provides further education to adults. This includes the provision of a learning facilitator to provide support in Portuguese and English (WP5&6).  Finally, SPI will coordinate as a lead the development of the sustainability framework (WP9), and lead WP8 on Dissemination and WP10 on Exploitation.
