The OLnet team were very priveleged to have both Cathy Casserley and Kathy Nicholson visit the team last week.
Cathy Casserley of the Carnegie Foundation was with us as a Visiting Fellow.
Kathy Nicholson of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation visited to be updated on OLnet's progress. .
Engin Kursun (OLnet Visiting Fellow) presented the following paper at the AECT conference in California in 2010 and the session was attended by David Wiley who asked follow up questions.

OLnet's Tina Wilson and TERG's Giselle Ferreira have successfully bid to the HEA Subject Centre for Information and Computer Sciences to develop a new project entitled: Using Open Educational Resources and Web 2.0 Tools to support Ethical Reasoning in ICS Project-Based Learning.

Giota Alevizou joined OLnet yesterday as a researcher. She will be working in the main with Grainne Conole and Patrick McAndrew.
Elpida Makriyanni has joined OLnet today as a researcher. She will be working in the main with Patrick McAndrew and Doug Clow.
The conference workshop at EDEN 2009 (10th – 13th June) was well received and well attended (25 participants). One workshop participant commented: ‘Commendable approach which could be attractive to learning designers or faculty members’.
In parallel we were running another workshop at the CSCL 2009 conference.
Two new researchers will be joining OLnet over the next few weeks.
